I hope you're not disappointed by how simple is this!


Original cap.
Crop the cap, sharpen as you like and add a curves layer to add more light.
And now we're gonna add a gradient map. Something like this:

Set to soft light, 78% opacity.


Make another gradient map with this (#26220a) and this (#f6f4e8) colors.
Something like this:

Normal, 100%



Add a new color fill with this color (#25160f)
Set to screen, 50%.

And now I painted around her head with a hard brush with this color (#d9a71c)


And that's it!







Original cap.
Crop the cap, sharpen as you like. I used some topaz clean.
Color the corners with this color (#b0a28d).


Add a curves layer to light the icon.


Add this gradient map. Set to soft light, 48%.




Make a new color fill with this color (#efd3b7) set to multiply.
Duplicate your base and set it to hue.


Make a new color fill with this color (#64aed8) set to Overlay 35%.
Add these textures, both to set to screen.

Make a new vibrance layer.
Vibrance +46.

Make a new selective color layer.
·Reds:
+33 / +39 / +31 / +6

·Yellows:
+49 / -39 / +100 / +47

·Whites
-1 / -1 / -8 / -7

·Neutrals:
0 / -10 / 0 / 0

Make a new vibrance layer.
Vibrance 100%
And that's it!!

Just one little thing: you said something about adding textures in step 2, but there are no textures (or I'm even blinder than I thought I was).
