44 The Vampire Diaries / The Originals icons for 20muses.
I'm soooo happy and exhausted right now! These took more than I expected, but I'm really really happy with my icons! :)
Well, for the most part! There are three of four that are a little blah. But well, I was really inspired with the theme! It was gorgeous working with this awesome theme, wich was Contemporary Art.
I used the words, textures, colors and the paintings given for inspiration, but I was more inspired about the emotions and feelings.
Here is what I got :) A whole lot of alternates xD

I'm loving the creativity of so many icons in this set. 3 and 8 in particular look fantastic with the muted vintage coloring and not-so-realistic elements. Great cropping (as usual) in 2 and 16 as well.

Que gran set, no tengo palabras! son todos preciosos, mis favoritos sin duda son el 3 y el 18 me encanta el tono retro vintage que les has dado, y las texturas no las podrías haber usado mejor, me encanta la de serpiente, yo tambien la he usado y queda increíble *___*

En cuanto a los magnificos close crops que haces, como siempre impecables, 2, 6, 11, 15 y 16 = ♥ ♥ ♥

Me encanta el 7 de Caroline con guiñando el ojo en negro, queda genial. Y el color del 14 es increíble, otro de mis favoritos. Y de los alternates todos igual de bonitos, en fila del 31 al 35 los crops son brillantes. Me llevo unos cuantos! :)

okay so i used to watch this but then i lost track of the show and idk i just never got around to finishing??? D: it's a shame tho because i really loved stefan and caroline and apparently they became canon eventually? or maybe i'm following tumblrs that are very good at manips lol.

ANYWAY. the amount of caro in this post makes me all kinds of happy. plus they're icons from you so automatically that's a 100000% win. i really really LOVE 3. it's so ~vintage looking and the texture obscuring the eyes is stunning. 5 is wonderful and i love the text on it. 6 has a magnificent crop! i believe you have become even better at close crops, yours are always so emotional *___* i also love the close crops on 9, 10, 15 and 16. 7 is all kinds of GENIUS and i genuinely want to marry all your icons with demon eyes. so we can live happily ever after lol. 8 is perfect because the colors are gr9, but so is the composition. it's so creepy and wonderful and just catches your eyes. 18 also has a really nice coloring and crop. and 20 is just very ~happy looking and bright. i have to say, your alts are really stunning too, especially 29, 31, 34, 35 and 39.

I kinda gave up both shows, but these are some amaing icons! :)
My favourite is definitely #3, the vintage look is amazing and the texture covering his eyes is a really nice touch! Love the crops on #2, #10, #15 and #16, the lighting on #17 is great and love how creative #8 is.
From the alts, I really like the vibrant coloring on #28 and #38, and the composition on #43 is soooo cute! ♥ :D

Wow, the creativity in this post is truly amazing! #3 is exceptionally well composed. I absolutely adore the colouring you've used, the muted yet slightly vibrant vintage look works so beautifully with the screencap choice, and the texture work in the background works perfectly to complement the colours. The placement of the cross is absolutely gorgeous as well. The crop of #10 is absolutely stunning (seriously, your close crops are always so creative!) and the texture work is so amazing as well. And I LOVE the colouring of #14. The muted, frosted tones are freaking amazing, and the crop, once again, is absolutely wonderful, and creates a beautiful focus within the icon. Amazing stuff!
